realistic *potential* offensive coordinators for LSU

in the event crowton gets shite-canned.
my order goes:
1. greg davis- i think a change of scenery will do him wonders. consistently put up big numbers with mccoy and young. great QBs, no doubt, but we are LSU and are capable of getting big talent, too
2. mike leach- i just dont see it happening. too much of a conflict in philosophies between him and miles. i worry the first time leach gets over ruled by miles how he'll handle it.
3. paul chryst- the shine has come off a bit with his underwhelming play calling the other night. still might be unrealistic if he only intends on leaving for HC job. style would mesh well with miles though
4. help me out...
usually, i am a very tough critic and hard to please when it comes to what youve accomplished in your career. but this time, i cant imagine it getting any worse, i just cant. give billy gonzalez the job and i cant see us being worse. i am totally open for anyone to take over, as long as his name doesnt rhyme with barry browton

I have a whole thread worth of guys somewhere on here that I'm waiting to bump in the event of Crowton's official release.
I will say, Greg Davis is severely underappreciated by UT and many, many others.

Promitown thinks every coach at LSU is great. We dont need Leech!

Anybody interested in Al Borges?
Posted on 1/3/11 at 2:52 pm to c on z
I hear mixed things about Borges. He does well with the previous coach's talent, but when it comes to scouting he's bad. That's what I hear at least.
Although he would be a massive upgrade from the brain damaged retard we have running the offense now.

He loves it Boise but money might get him. This is the OC I want.

Jesus frick.
Florida just hired Charlie Weis from an NFL team.
LSU plays Florida and we'll probably have to score more points to beat them in the future.
There should be no "realistic" to it.
It should just be go out and find the best person out there and convince them to come.
It seems like LSU has never had an elite OC:
Bryan Harsin
Norm Chow
Leach
Think big for godsakes.
Do you know what LSU would be a with a top ten offense?
UNDEFEATED THIS YEAR.
Unbeatable next.
Everyone knows someone. Get it done. How hard can it be. Muschamp is young, energetic and wants to win so he went out and got the best guy he could think of -- that's not what we're doing right now.
WAKE UP AND GET THE BEST OC FOR THE JOB

Agreed. Go for Harsin right fricking now.

i think i'll pass on greg davis.
I'd crap my pants if we hired Leach, though. Go ahead and make BCSCG plans for 2011 if Leach is LSU's OC.
