Not a list of best coaching jobs. It's the most likely jobs that would want him. I think W. Michigan or wherever PJ Fleck is now would be likely also.

At this point he's made enough money that quality of life ahould be top priority. He and Kathy can decide what part of the country they want to settle down/retire in and be picky about job opportunities around there. Big 10 country makes a lot of sense, but his son is at UNC, so somewhere around that area may appeal to them. Hell, if Fedora bounces he could slide into that job.
I think his pride is too much to go to Kentucky or State or somewhere like that. He's not going to be able to take on his old rivals with far inferior talent. I just don't see him being able to swallow running out in Kentucky blue and facing Saban across the field. Or the guy who replaced him at LSU. There's just not a scenario where I see him ever again in the SEC. And I'm glad as Id like to be able to pull for him wherever he goes.

What would be the incentive for Houston to hire a coach like Miles? I'm being serious. Houston has always been a job for a really good up and coming coach not someone on the tail end of their career that the game has passed by.
I think they should be taken completely off your list along with Notre Dame, Miss St, and Baylor.

I think either Purdue or PSU is most likely. Both of their fanbases seem to love the idea of Miles as coach.
If Miles can't get any offers better than Western Michigan (which is doubtful) he'll probably choose to stay unemployed.

Penn State could work...but they aren't going to be able to ground n pound OSU and UM into submission. Les NEEDS to find a way to develop a QB.

Miles needs a place he can recruit well at. i think he'd do would do well at any of these places.

As a Rutgers fan, a coach like Miles is a literal doomsday scenario for RU.
Rutgers already struggles to recruit, but a coach like Miles would steal far more talent than Franklin has.

I like Rutgers, but it sounds like you are already there. It's hard to comprehend how Rutgers can be struggling so be poorly.
