I love Kirby like a brother but Saban is the GOAT…and Kirby would agree with me.

It depends if we are talking about history, or who is the best coach today.

If you were hiring a coach today, would you hire Saban or Kirby?

I would hire Kirby.

Not having Dabo in the top 3 is laughable.

Brian Kelly is not in the Top 20, much less number 3.

Spent years at one of the natin's premier programs and never won a damn thing. 8-4 coach at LSU.

Take your delusions of being a powerhouse elsewhere.

Kelly has two playoff appearances and 1 BCS championship game. There's only a five active coaches that can beat or equal that: Saban, Dabo, Kirby, Ryan Day and Lincoln Riley.

LSU has 3 national titles in the last 20 years, under 3 different coaches. No other school besides Alabama has more than 2.

Perhaps you should check your definition of "powerhouse"

...and no trophy. He is an also-ran.

What happened to House at LSU?

Were you people saying this last year when he had the defense humming pretty good while bitching about the offense and Denbrock? Because last year everyone was blowing House and crapping all over Denbrock.

A certain faction of LSU fans are nothing but a bunch of idiot “video game experts” that think they can always do better while thinking their idiocy it translates to the real world.

I’m still trying to figure out what an “also-ran” is.

3. Brian Kelly

Does losing 3-4 games a season at LSU get you 3rd on this list? MAC Kelly may be in the 11-20 range.

And none of that has shite to do with Brian Kelly other than he is the current HC and hasn't come close to a NC in his season plus there.

No love for Jeff Brohm?

Probably should be on the list. Purdue is a hard school to win at. He will probably skyrocket in national perception at Louisville.

Brohm is basically Bobby Petrino except he isn't a scumbag.

Perhaps read the post I was responding to. There was more there besides just Brian Kelly.

Kiffin is much higher than 21. He is severely underrated, probably because of his past antics.

He won 10 regular season games in his second season, which is something no other Ole Miss coach has done. Freeze couldn't do it with much more talented teams, and Cutcliffe couldn't do it with Eli freaking Manning.
We're on the cusp of another 9-3 or 10-2 season.

Ole Miss has won a bunch more SEC games than expected based on its talent level. Ole Miss is not going to win any SEC games by out-talenting its opponents, other than Vanderbilt.

If there's a knock on Kiffin, it's that he's not a particularly good high school recruiter. I wish he were better. But he's done a great job working the portal, and it's probably a wise strategy for Ole Miss to spend its NIL money on proven players rather than spending it all on high school players who may or may not work out.
