Raiders are working to finalize a deal to hire Antonio Pierce as their head coach, per sources.

Raiders made Pierce their interim HC on Halloween night and now are closing in on making it a full-time job. Players who campaigned for Pierce soon are expected to be happy.

Excellent. Now find a good QB and an OC and let’s roll.

They're going to draft Jayden if he's available.

I know this may be a popular choice for the players but what he did to lead that team after that shite head McDaniels was there was incredible. Good for him.

I was reading somewhere, I'm not sure where, but apparently they are REALLY close. There was a bit of a statement alluding to the fact that if Pierce ended up HC, it wouldn't be a surprise to see them trade up to get him. I don't know what the Raiders depth chart looks like, but that would be a good spot for him and I already want to see the Raiders vs. Bengals in person, just thinking about it.

I like Pierce, but sticking with him over Vrabel is kind of crazy to me.

Also, has it ever worked out longterm for a HC when the players campaign for a coach.

I wouldn’t mind seeing JD in a raiders jersey versus all the other mock draft shite with the giants etc

Think he could make a big impact quickly with that roster versus going to other shitty organizations

That’s a very good point Jack. I just like Pierce and hope he can get the right folks around him and succeed.

They blew it so bad switching from Biscaccia to McDaniels that they had a player revolt on their hands if they did it again. Maxx Crosby already hinted at a trade demand if Pierce wasn't kept.
