The way this board acts, they would melt if Peetz left and went to Florida. Apparently they do not realize that the reason we are a .500 team is because these coaches have been terrible but they still melt about each one not coming back.

So if Napier were hired at LSU, everyone would have been retained? That would have been awful.

Let him go, Defense wasn't that impressive. Kelly will hire great staff.

But if we were to exchange him for Charlie Partridge (Pitt) or Ron Aiken (Oregon- coaching turnover) I'd be ok with it. Because you are right, there's some good ones out there.

Who? How many nfl sacks these guys got?

I don't mean to belabor the point, but LSU lost 2 starters and one of the best freshman DL, and dominated the line of scrimmage against several stout SEC teams, including Alabama. Anyone who says Andre Carter is a 'meh' DL coach clearly didn't watch the games. Teams could not really run on LSU.

Yeah the Auburn game sticks out. But jesus the Dline was in the backfield every time on those 4th down plays. Let's be clear, if Nix plays against Alabama, Auburn wins that game by 2 TDs.

It’s already happened. Absolutely nobody in the media is saying Napier was a slam dunk hire. They are all saying he appears to be a good coach but is unproven in running a big time program. You know, the exact same shite we are saying here. He may turn Florida around, or he may tank it even worse than it already is.

what on earth does this matter. Pro stats have ZERO bearing on coaching abilities. Zero

The dline did play well late but it's not like he's proven himself to be excellent.

Sure. They were fine. But were they really any better than our D-line has been for the last 20 years? No.

Is Napier’s whole gambit going to be trying to poke LSU in the eye because he didn’t get picked? Cause if it’s not, it sure looks like it. That won’t end well for him.

Don’t understand the post from his son if his dad is not officially leaving yet.

The kid just said he “might” be going to UF. That would be consistent with Carter considering all his options at the same time as Kelly is considering his. Who knows what the kid really knows or if he really has any insight into what the final decision is going to be?

Coach Carter's son is very active on the Gram. He replied to my comment about Q. Wiggins a couple of days ago when I said Quency come on down. His reply "depends on what happens with my dad."

He has a point but it's very annoying for the kid be out there flooding posts all day. Could it affect us with QW and Anthony Lucas? Absolutely, but I believe there's enough there for QW to still come to LSU if CAC is not retained. I do hope we keep him though.

Does it really matter at this point? We weren’t worth a shite with the coaching we had before. Is Florida Ok with those type of seasons? Getting those coaches reflects on the type of teams they will field.

Wow.
So, Andre cool with him just throwing his business all around?
Sounds like a little brat.
