If I'm Schroeder, though, I leave those rants to the message boards where they belong. I mean "Tom Vermin" will kill there.
Kek. Tom Verim.

Lane won't sign any contract where class and virtue are required.

Unless it's a stepping stone job like maybe Houston or a Tulane No one will touch Kiffin as a HC. Way to much baggage. Not enough years have passed for the CF world to forget that debacle.

Nice guys finish last, especially in CFB.

UH modeled their stadium suites after a Fairfield Inn breakfast room?

Les miles is all class. No history of behaving in a manner anyone would consider offensive.

Houston interviewed at least four candidates for its head coaching vacancy, sources told ESPN.com: Alabama OC Lane Kiffin, former LSU coach Les Miles, Houston OC Major Applewhite and Houston DC Todd Orlando have all interviewed. Houston expects to make a hire by week's end, according to sources.
Houston is tired of frequent HC turnover; i.e., being a stepping stone. They want new hire to accept contract designed to make it costly for other schools to hire away their HC. Kiffin may not like that. If Miles would be content to stay there, UH just might hire him.

FWIW, on Tiger Talk yesterday it was reported that Houston was asking for a 10 year 10 mill buyout for their HC hire. Seems kind of a small amount for a team to pay to get their coach if he proved successful.

Okie State and Gary Moeller agree.

Kiffin is crazy to accept this role.
Auburn, Texas AM and Texas Tech could come available next season. Plus plenty more. Even Ole Miss or Mississippi State.
Why would you get locked into Houston when he could be a viable candidate for larger programs next year. I think he will be second to Fleck but ahead of Riley!

Yeah. This rant came out a couple days ago when Houston was still talking about interviewing the epitome of 'class and virtue' Art Briles:

Dude never said a word about that possible interview.
