Didn’t say popular, just likely. I’m not convinced Riley has near as much success in the brutal SEC. Big 12 has been way down since Texas went nonexistent.

So let’s shuffle the 2 coaches, the 3 schools, and the relative opportunities.
Jimbo at aTm. Mediocrity until fired or retire. Marriage of convenience for both. Likely.
Jimbo at OU. Big opportunity for Jimbo. Meh for OU, kinda an O settling.
Jimbo at LSU. Biggest opportunity for Jimbo. Okay for LSU. Not as good as post FSU.
Riley at OU. Best for both if OU doesn’t SEC. Not so good Rile if OU goes SEC.
Riley at LSU. Good for LSU. Good for Riley if OU goes SEC. Better recruiting.
Riley at aTm. Stupid for Riley. Great for aTm. Not happening. Riley would do better at tier 1 ACC or PAC 12.
My opinion ranked coaches Riley excellent, Jimbo good.
Opportunity for coach, #1 non SEC OU, #2 LSU, #3 SEC OU, #4 aTm.
