Brady was a pipe dream
Harrell interviewing for UNLV head coaching job

Texas board will melt when Herman ends up with some retread.
Never thought Herman era would trend this way so soon!

He'll "steal" Noel Mazzone from Arizona and sips everywhere will celebrate because they stole the OC of a former Aggy coach.

They're about to offer Brady north of $2 million, or he's going to disappoint a lot of Longhorn fans.

But there's no guarantee Harrell gets UNLV. That job is getting more attention than I thought it would.

New stadium and facilities seem to be the factor driving this. Still not sure why anyone would want that job.

This is also the same university that gave the job to a high school coach last time around. So who knows.

Can you imagine the cluster it will be with Herman and another offensive “mind”?

Hot time in austin!

He should probably just do what Mike Gundy does and just go take a bad arse offensive mind from a low tier FCS or D2 school

But we all know the entitled Texas fan base won’t settle for that

Why would any young offensive coach with a system that is completely different than Herman’s, want to coach under him?

Don’t care. I want Texas to fall apart. So we can get Tommy Brockermeyer. The 5* OT.

If they pay $2 mil to a guys that’s two years removed from being a GA, then they’re in worst shape than I thought.

Shhhhhh... I expect LSU to match it. I want to watch the melt next year when Myles Brennan isn't a pimple on Joe Burrows pasty white behind.

$2 million for an offensive coord when that is Herman's specialty and main reason he was hired
On top of that $6 million for Herman that he leveraged the LSU job to get from Texas

And on top of that, he needs a defensive coordinator which is not his expertise which the going rate for that will be another $2 million

So the can't miss hire, is already having to replace two coordinators in this market that he practically threw under the bus.

Supposedly they are offering Harrell North of $2M a year. 6.5M for three years, guaranteed

Lolz after hiring an offensive genius to be head coach, they have to pay out the arse for an OC to fix their offense.

That would make him the highest paid OC, right? Isn’t Herman supposed to be an offensive mastermind HC? Harrell would be a fool to take that job.

They are going to make Brady say no for sure . Can’t blame them for trying

Yes I am aware he has a new deal in place .

I think any P5 coordinator is a fool to take the job, unless it's a guaranteed contract. Essentially Harrell could make 6.5M for one year's worth of work when they fire Herman next year.

I have a very hard time believing those numbers are correct. If they are, Del Conte has lost his mind. They’re paying Herman way too much to then need to go out and get an OC at that price.
