I’m so sick of the “O was a perfect fit” narrative.
He wasn’t. He should have never been given the job. He was unqualified for it and the last two years show EXACTLY why he was unqualified for it. His off field antics caused his demise just as much as his on field ones did.
Just because a guy is from a state doesn’t mean he is a “perfect fit” to coach the states college football team.

Am the only one who feels insulted when people say O was a perfect fit at LSU culture wise? That almost seems derogatory to me.

Only people outside the state thought this. Just like my college buddies friends from Minnesota genuinely thought we took pirogues to school everyday.
