Panthers plan to keep Matt Rhule

He's got like 45 mil left on his contract. Michigan would pay well but probably not enough to cover his Carolina money and whatever, say Nebraska, would pay next offseason.

Exactly. Need to pull the bandaid off at this point. So much fan disdain for him that he wont succeed there. This screams early to mid season firing and a year wasted on their part.

The fans have jack shite to do w/his ability to have success. It all comes down to roster construction. Not one HC in the NFL would have done anything worth a damn w/what he's had to work with in Charlotte.
