Maybe this is true. Maybe Riley doesn’t care about money and is happy where he is. So be it.

I would actually respect that as a family man, myself.

Next up would definitely be Aranda.

The guy may end up being right about Riley never being interested in LSU, but his reasoning makes zero sense.

recruiting advantage?

He lost all credibility here. I also understand that a young coach wouldn’t want to move his family across the country for nominal improvements but the ‘Baton Rouge is horrible’ thing is way overblown.

What good does it do for Oklahoma and Riley to hold off on announcing an extension. If the recruiting part is true in what they posted, would t announcing the extension show recruits he’s staying at OU? Post doesn’t make sense to me.

I'd respect it too, but I think it'll be obvious Oklahoma had to pony up to keep him when the dust settles.

Yeah if they have an extension signed it makes zero sense not to announce it. Why have rumors and uncertainty swirling around your program and being a distraction for no reason? Because you have some galaxy brained idea that it’s going to help you in recruiting? lol sure

Apparently he is building a new crib

And? Woodward just finished building a new house outside of College Station when we hired him.

Just have a few things to say . If Riley chooses to stay , Oklahoma will have trouble making the playoffs again once in the sec. His name and popularity will take a big hit . His demand is at a all time high right now . If he chooses LSU and has success . He will be in greater demand and his popularity will skyrocket. To me it’s a career decision more than anything. Just my 2 cents .

He probably isn’t coming to LSU, but the notion that he used this to upstage LSU in recruiting is hilarious and pathetic either pathetic that this guy would make it up or that Lincoln thinks this type of move would cut the shine on LSU.

That post reads like 100% BS.
