Not me but I am just saying. They are talking about what Buddy said so I am saying that from now until the bowl game the coaching change topic will me nothing more than a great topic for talk radio.

How do you try to kick 63 yard field goals into the wind or try to call a timeout to stop the clock after a kickoff return in 2005?

or try to call a time out after an interception in 2005 against UT

or not go for two after scoring a touchdown to go up by five with one second left in the game(Auburn 2007)

1. Of the speculated candidated (and there are many) what are their areas of specialty? Tenuta is LB coach at ND, but it's been he's a secondary guy. Just wondering if the candidates are all LB/Secondary guys.

Chavis is a linebackers guy also.

everybody needs to calm down, Les is waiting on Urban Meyer to finish the bowl season.

Urban will be the DC

Spurrier is on track to be the D-Line coach

Petrino is coming in to coach the linebackers

Croom is going to take over the secondary

you will see everything will work itself out

I would like the DC to not be responsible for a position. Just like Pelini.
Agree...but I don't think that is likely given the number of coaches allowed on staff.

was it an INT? I must've tried to block that game out of my memory too much. I knew it was a clear clock stopping play.

You would need to fire either Jo Rob or Henson to make it work. Henson is another bbq buddy so that ain't happening.

Honestly though, if a new DC is brought in and Pevito and/or Mallory stays they have no self respect or no other job prospects.

Yeah it was Laron Landry intercepting middle Clausen with about 30 seconds to go and tie ball game.

Henson explains the game on the sidelines to Miles so he will never be going.

Well my honest opinion on this whole situation is this. Something has to be done and a move needs to be made on defense.

I expect a change to come because there needs some type of stability on D. If a change is not made then I will not support Miles as much as I have done since he came to LSU.

IF a change is not made this will give me the impression Les wants "puppets" and that he isn't doing what is best for the program. Who will he hire if he does hire someone? I would beat on the guy from TCU but he needs to clean house in other areas as well.

On the other hand, maybe Les knows what he is doing and I would hate to see him be forced to make changes he doesnt want to make because it will take away from a philosophy he has in order to be successful.

I said on the Rant that if we lost to Ole Miss and Arkansas we have a problem somewhere, well we did and I am convinced there is a problem somewhere. Is it a problem bigger than the DC? I dont know but I dont think Miles can take his team and be successful if no changes at all are made.
