Only one coach on LSU's staff is leaving per Mike S.

Just on Buddy Songy's show and Buddy certainly didn't disagree at all.
If Miles only cans Earl Lane or one of the tard twins, how many of you think that will work out fine for Les?
A new DC over a staff of bumbling idiots that not only suck but resent the new DC and have lost the respect of the players will probably change Miles' career path from DiNardo to a more condensed version of Fulmer's collapse.

Max, if a new DC is coming in and Lane is leaving, and if the DC is not assuming the role of DL coach, then another assistant will have to go.

I don't get it.
If a new DC is hired, why would he not be allowed to bring his team with him? You can't ask a chef to cook a 5* meal and then give him a can of SPAM to work with.
Both DC's need to go along with the entire defensive staff. I wouldn't be quite as opposed to one getting his position job back, but something HAS to happen in regards to a legit DC.
If it doesn't, Miles will be on extremely thin ice with a lot of weight to carry next season.

The only thing that been consistent on these boards is that no one knows what the deal is.

I see no way Mallory is on this staff next year. The DBs have terrible fundamentals (turn and run) and the defense he called this year stunk. He is also a weak recruiter.
No way Miles can sell this. I think Miles has the guy he wants and will announce after the bowl game. He flubs up the LSU job and his days of millions as a HC are long gone. He know this.

Bottomline, IF only one assistant is leaving on defense, AND Miles is bringing in a new DC, then that new DC will HAVE to coach the position held by the departing assistant.

Exactly. There are about 2 or 3 people on this whole board who really know some of that information. Chicken and Belowpar are two of them.

yeah there is a limit of coaches. They could always fire Robinson and let Peveto further ruin special teams again but that would still mean more than 1 gets the Ax overall.
Hopefully Scike just has bad info yet again.
