Having said that I can’t see Kiffin leaving. Leaking this 10 days out is a great way for it to blow up. If he has any interest in staying at ole miss they now have ample time to appease him if they want to

He was only there for three years. And his second season wasn't very good.
I have been a defender of Lane, but let's be honest, there were a lot of people who weren't sold on him as a HC until recently. Hell, there were many LSU posters just last year who wanted to avoid him like the plague.

It’s great having an elite coach and knowing our program is in good hands. We’ve been through the circus more than our share recently so it’s nice to see it from the outside looking in this time

Bunch of rumors that he leaked that he was getting the AD job back when he was still our baseball coach. Which made the other candidates back out.
Not to mention the smear job of State article where he said our NIL sucked only to have it backfire and our NIL quadruple in a matter of days after he takes the Auburn AD job
So he’s got a track record of that.
Needless to say he’s a clown.

Your NIL does suck, and it took losing your AD and him standing at our podium saying he left because Auburn is just better in all those areas for State fans to wake up a little…but its still not going to be enough. Both Ole Miss and MSU are WAY behind Auburn and other programs in the SEC in regards to NIL, facilities, etc
