There’s this new thing called the transfer portal which CW could get into and come with Riley. We were in his final 2 or 3 I believe. Okies can keep Grinch though. Lol

What, OU was going to get Vandergriff and Caleb Williams? Or did you forget that OU only started pursuing Williams right when Brady left in January 2020.

Where do you guys get your info?

OU was recruiting Caleb well before Brady's departure. Caleb was on OU's radar before he was on LSU's. Somewhat due to OU recruiting a couple of his HS teammates (like current OU LB Joseph Wete).

OU was the first school Caleb visited in the summer of 2019. He left OU and went to UGA, Penn St, LSU, Oregon, wherever else (going off of memory).

Caleb, and his dad Carl, wanted that OU offer/opportunity. The holdup was Vandagriff. Once Vandagriff decommitted, Caleb was a lock to OU.

No lock on that. Currently it’s 2024, the other dates are not a guarantee. Williams will be gone after his junior year. So as it stands today, in 2024, Williams will be a rookie in the NFL and OU will be 6-6 in the SEC.

LR is using all of this to get a MASSIVE raise from OU. LSU knows it and is playing the game to make OU increase their budget. If OU blinks, Riley could come but it isn’t expected. Remember, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

SW is doing exactly what we all want, see if you can pull a top coach away from an already good deal. Very Hard to do. But you lose nothing by trying.

Fact is OU will never win a national championship. There’s no way to build a national champion in that dust bowl. He’s coming here, and CW is gonna be beamed in on the portal.

Fall of 2019 it was LSU, UGA, and Penn St. Things started getting interesting in the summer when Caleb went to the LSU camp and stayed an extra day, they visited LSU again twice after that, Tristan Leigh too. After the aTm game LSU was in the lead.

So while Vandegriff was committed it wasn't going to happen. thank you for backing up my point.

That “dust bowl” (obviously never been outside LA) is an hour from Dallas and OU has in fact had many more NCs than LSU. Also Riley brings in top 5 classes. 2023 is number 1.

Oklahoma hasn’t had a top 5 class since 2010 and rankings for 2023 are meaningless

Getting the off-season championships started early. Real early.

Y’all may end up being worse than Aggy in terms of delusions of grandeur.

So you think there’s a 0% of Riley to LSU and that LSU under Riley wouldn’t be scary?

OU hasn’t won shite in 2 decades. Nobody cares about the leather helmet days baw.

And #1 in 2023 until Bama, UGA, LSU, Ohio State and Clemson start signing their classes.

I don’t think you understand what I said. I was saying that Oklahoma fans are as delusional as Aggy. Maybe worse.

I think there’s about a 43% chance and paired with the right DC, Riley would be dominant at LSU for many years.
