I would like them to reach out to Dan Lanning, Sark, and Ryan Day.

I think Tim Walz is available. Heck of a football coach

Defenses will have to figure out how to defend the pick 6 play.

Show him this and he’ll pay the Saints to let him coach.

I don’t trust Loomis to make a good hire.

I dont see guys like Vrabel wanting a total rebuild job

Every NFL HC job has its headaches. If Loomis (by some miracle) gets the boot we might become more attractive as a landing spot.

Walz’s specialty is “calling a pick six”, right?

It might just be me hoping, but I don't think a total rebuild is that unattractive. With it comes a longer leash and ability to be more involved in constructing the roster. Also, fans will be thrilled at any signs of improvement.

Its worse than a rebuild. Its a really terrible situation on multiple levels.

Older roster, historically bad cap situation, stuck with a mediocre QB, no significant future draft asset beyond your own picks currently.

You say that but the team is headed for the best draft pick its had in over a decade.

If I know the Saints, and I think I do, they will win a few games and frick that up

They play the Browns, Rams, and Giants the next 3 weeks

... Nick Saban will be coach ...

book it

I believe Nick said something like this right after he took the Alabama job that the NFL isn't the right fit for him,

That is true, but that was like 20 years ago.
Things change , you know.

Of course he said that he was not the right fit for the NFL that was in 2005

Here is the clip of Saban making the Dolphins player cry on the field ...

LINK

But I think Saban has changed

And I think he will be back in the NFL coaching

2 reasons

#1 the NIL is destroying college sports

#2 the players in college sports are not getting, or are not LEARNING the basic fundamentals of football any longer because money is getting in the way.

Saban knows he can make a difference this time in the pros. Last time he was just a babysitter.

Saban is not going back to coaching. The reason he left Bama was because of NIL.

The NFL is NIL x100000000

I agree with 100%

This is why I know Saban is going to make the jump

The coaching dynamic is going to change . I mean change significantly
and it will change overnight
Saban now knows what to do to capitalize on this, he sees it happening.

Book it ...

He said he would not be the coach at Alabama before that.

I legit think Lane Kiffin is looking to the NFL. Saints could do much worse

From the LSU Recruiting board:

quote:

I was at a wedding this past weekend in Hattiesburg. All Ole Miss fans with deep pockets. Word amongst them is that the Saints have contacted Kiffin.
