Dooley will be awesome for Tenn. I will have to actually watch Tenn play now. I don't care what his team's record was this year, think that he is underestimated.

UTs AD doesn't charter planes like that for searches, because of people tracking flights like that. Seriously. He will fly coach, take cabs, ditch rental cars at wal marts, go to hotels in cities that the coach isn't employed in all in an effort to throw people off the trail.

so the sticking point is the 6 Asst Coaches Kiffin left behind at UT that each have 2yrs left on their 3yr contracts totaling 3mm per year in salary

Dooley will keep the Assts to get the job, Cutcliffe, et al wouldnt agree to it

This is a destination job for DD. If he does well, he will not go to Georgia, just like his dad who was an Auburn guy, dug in with Georgia and never went back to Auburn although is was offered more than once. If he gets it, what a chance for DD.

When latech playes us last year, they were very well coached, disciplined, and excecuted about as good as you could.

then why did they suck fricking dick last year?

why has la tech never come close to being really good in a non-BCS conference with all of this great coaching/execution?

He is a better coach then miles i would say by a good bit.

miles built a shite BCS team into a solid BCS team in a few years

Because half his team was injured that's why.

He has done a very good job at Tech and the next coach will get the benifits from his hard work. They will have alot of talent next year.

IMO if he is the next Tenn coach he will be a very good one! I will have to change my view of Tenn because of Dooley he is a good person as well as a good coach.

Skip not available. Leach is a letch. Now reputable program will hire him in near future. Next?

He was until yesterday and I'm pretty sure Holtz would have listened to overtures from UT instead of going to USF.

labeling Tenn as a 2nd tier BCS program is ridiculous.
