I have no idea if your stadium is much, much better than it was in HDN's time at Ole Miss... But I hope so.

It was absolutely disgusting when we visited. No comparison at all in facilities. If facilities matter to the HC, then I would think in all reasonableness that Arkansas has the upper hand.

Pay as well...

So, we shall see. I kind of think we get Kiff or he stays at FAU! WPS!

It comes down to recruiting/play calling and not much else. We're both middle-tier SEC programs. Ole Miss has the talent to go to a bowl as early as next season. Arkansas doesn't. Enjoy the 3+ year rebuild in your state of the art facilities.

Our AD is trolling our fans on twitter about kiffin.

Our athletic department has told all but 2 of our coaches they will not be retained. You can't tell someone they are being retained unless the next coach plans to keep them. So that must mean arkansas has their coach, and that coach is Kiffin. Sorry to tell you OM guys but it is a done deal already. OM is getting napier. Norvell will be coaching at FSU.

You guys threw his brother under the bus on your infractions, and does not think highly of you for it.

It will be announced Sunday. Kiffin will meet with FAU players on monday. Press conference on tuesday.

Napier would be my pick
He's won more at ULL in program history
Knows SEC landscape
Has ties to bring in some decent assistants

I think he's as solid as it gets, and if we didnt need someone with a bit of silly flash in them to get people interested, i'd be all over it.

You guys are in a MUCH better place on day 1 for whoever the new coach is.

We had 25k people at our last home game. We need a little showmanship, unfortunately, and i HATE that shite.

If you’re competing this close with Ole Miss you are truly a dogshit program.

I actually agree, it’s sobering to see how close we have fallen to Ole Miss a perennial SEC cellar dweller.

Sad.

What’s sad is you honestly think you are that much better than Ole Miss

Ole Miss is a MUCH better job perception wise and Arkansas is well...a dumpster fire, as usual.

Those SEC west champion / SEC championship appearance Arky teams benefited from years in the SEC west where they would win it with a 5-3 SEC record. We have had those caliber teams that didn’t win the West with much better conference records.

Our 2006 team won it with a 7-1 record. Even Bielema managed a 5-3 SEC season here though.

We’ve had years like that as well. Our Sugar Bowl team and our 11-2 team that was ranked as high as #3 both didn’t make it. Unfortunately they came at a time with Cam Newton in the division and then a time when LSU and Alabama played for a national title.

Kiffin has not decided what he wants to do. Ole Miss is a more attractive job than Arkansas is, especially when it comes to recruiting. I'd prefer Arkansas get Kiffin, because that neutralizes him for at LEAST two-three years from winning much of anything.

Ole Miss has more bowl wins (or equal amount) than the following programs:

Auburn
Clemson
Florida
Miami
Michigan
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Texas A&M

and easily surpasses many others, including both Arkansas and Missouri

You didn't debunk anything. Ole Miss has recruited better than Arkansas over the last 3 years while enduring probation, a bowl ban, and a coaching change due to a sex scandal. If you think Kiffin could recruit to Fayetteville just as easily as he could to Oxford, you're on Kool-Aid #12

So does Georgia Tech. I love using historical numbers to value a modern program.

Agreed.

Kiffin will win press conferences. Napier will win games.
