There are several on the Arkansas board with contacts that work with the UofA athletic department, with attorneys who work on the contracts, and with BOT members as well.

If I'm guessing I would say it's probably 70/30 in favor of Napier being our head coach eventually but Kiffin was nowhere on my radar until this morning. I thought he was an Arkansas lock (and he may still be).
Regardless, he has a conference championship game this weekend so I don't think we will hear anything from him, Norvell or Napier until early next week.

Ole Miss is easier to recruit.
Kiffin would be able to fight O and Saban for recruits in Oxford, he would own Memphis and Moorhead.
I could also see him cherry picking a few guys from all over the South.

One thing that I thought about is what has Chris Kiffin told Lane about Ole Miss? Hopefully it's positive and along the lines of "Those guys will throw money around and get you whatever you want"

We signed multiple 5 stars from Texas over Freeze's tenure. I would be willing to bet UT was one of the ones bitching to the NCAA about us.

If the Norvell and FSU news is true, Nappier seems like a good fit for Ole Miss. A lot of risk with him but I think the upside is high enough to be a good/great hire.

Ole Miss is definitely the better job. We haven’t even gotten into discussing talent pools. MS has better high school and one of the best JUCO systems in the nation for football. Easier place to recruit to, etc. No one wants that Arkansas rebuild on their hands. You can win immediately with the talent on the Ole Miss roster.
