A) Me saying Ole Miss isn't getting Kiffin isn't a ridiculous claim. Sure, I guess there is a small chance it could happen. However, all signs point to him coming to us on Sunday. That's not really going out on a limb.
B) Fritz was talked about intially, but his name has not been mentioned at all for several weeks past a "backup to the backup's backup" type of situation. There are several options that wouldn't turn us down that are in front of him on our list.
I'm not claiming to be more knowledgeable than anyone else. I'm not making up bullshite though about Fritz when I have literally nothing to back that up, unlike the OP.

Ole Miss actually has talent on the roster. At Arkansas he’s starting from rock bottom.
I mean, we have a lot of four-stars at our skill positions. They were just freshmen and horribly coached. We have a 1,000 yard rusher and redshirted one of the top TE recruits in the country.
It may take a few more years to get back to a bowl but Morris masked a lot of the talent we have with terrible playcalling and game-planning (an anonymous SEC coach said we were the worst prepared staff they played all year).

You won 4 games and nearly lost to the Hogs.
You offense was a QB running around for his life. No one is taking over a well oiled machine in Oxford.
And we have a lot more talent than you think.

It was 31-17. That's not "nearly losing".

Ole Miss had the youngest team in America with 70 something percent of their total offense produced by freshmen. I'm no sunshine pumper but they were in nearly every game. Arkansas has won 8 games over the last three years while going 1-23 in conference play.

We were very young too. We had the 2nd youngest defense in the country and started the below toward the end of the season. Yours were coached by a former P5 head coach on both sides of the ball while we were stuck with a Clemson GA and a way over the hill Chavis leading ours. That said, we had a chance to win against A&M and @ Kentucky and after that game the team gave up and revolted against Morris. Our AD said the same. At least your players liked and played hard for Luke.

If Lane goes to Arkansas, he commits career suicide. There is zero talent with which to recruit in that state. Your school hasn't won a SEC game since like 1983.
Welcome Willie Fritz. He's got a hot daughter. You could certainly do worse.

It was 31-10 with 2 minutes left and Arky scored a garbage time TD with 1:21 left to make the score look respectable. Game was over in the 3rd. Even when the fluke fumble return happened to pull Arky within a TD, there was never any doubt that Ole Miss was going to win safely.
On to more important things: Lane is meeting with Ole Miss tonight. If things go well, I anticipate them announcing him Sunday. He was #2 on their list behind Norvell but FSU is going to offer Norvell a large chunk of change and Ole Miss can’t afford it at this time. If the meeting with Lane isn’t favorable, then Ole Miss will move on to Billy Napier and I don’t expect much of a battle for him. There really aren’t any other candidates that Ole Miss is seriously considering at this moment.

Yeah ours that left looked like arse under Morris too and are now having success at other places. Amazing what good coaching can do. John L. Smith made Petrino's players look like arse too.
Nevermind that they had offers from Clemson, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Auburn, Florida, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Alabama, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Georgia, A&M, Oregon, Utah, Wisconsin, etc.

So Ole Miss AD is in Boca?

They all suck, man. Arkansas is a dead program. You can't recruit there. You can't win there. Lane Kiffin is the next HC of the Ole Miss Rebels.
