Ole Miss is definitely the better job. We haven’t even gotten into discussing talent pools. MS has better high school and one of the best JUCO systems in the nation for football. Easier place to recruit to, etc. No one wants that Arkansas rebuild on their hands. You can win immediately with the talent on the Ole Miss roster.

Not sure why the response was this. I'm saying regardless of what is the better job right now or in the future. There are other reasons why people connect Arkansas and Kiffin that doesn't involve the above.

For the record, literally any job in the sec is better right now except maybe Vandy.

Those sort of things point more to the future. I have no problem admitting that Ole Miss is the better job as of right now like 99% of SEC teams.

I'm juggling this on so many platforms at the moment that I didn't realize how off base that reply was. I think his ties to the program are more or less irrelevant at this point. When you're taking on a job where 4-8/5-7/6-6 is the best case scenario in a three year stretch, you'd have to be a bit hesitant. I think if Ole Miss were to offer 4/18mm, Kiffin will be sporting the red & blue

This is highly subjective but no one can know for sure so maybe

Eh, it really just depends on the coach. Some that are confident in their ability see it as an easy chance to overachieve. If Kiffin's main goal is reaching a bowl game in year 1, than yeah the choice would be obvious.

If the offer was made right now, you would probably be right. Our AD seems confident in the fact that anyone who wants to job will wait till he is ready after his interviews.

BTW, don't use Hogville to get a read on the fan base please.

If the Norvell and FSU news is true, Nappier seems like a good fit for Ole Miss. A lot of risk with him but I think the upside is high enough to be a good/great hire.

I'd take Norvell (obviously) and Napier over Kiffin. I think Kiffin is mostly hat and little cattle.

You obviously didn’t watch what he did with Blake Sims at Alabama. And how he got Amari Cooper the ball when he was literally their only weapon at WR. He is as good of an X’s and O’s Coach as their is.

Yeah-I seent it. He's a good OC.

What has he done as a HC? He has a track record. I'm sure you have seen it.

Bingo. People knock him for his previous coaching stints but I really see no issue.

Tennessee was a dumpster fire in 2009 and he came in and had them playing good ball for the most part. I'm pretty sure he turned Johnathon Crompton into like a 3rd round pick. He recruited lights out and would've been wrecking shite in Knoxville had he stayed.

No one's winning at USC and that's still being proven 7 years after his dismissal.

National titles at Alabama and a pair of double digit win seasons in three years in Boca Raton. What's not to like?
