What do you think the odds are of Les Miles landing one of these four coaching jobs?

I'd say 60%. Not everyone can get Herman, and Les has a national championship on his résumé.

Penn State most likely, then Southern Cal?

it better come with some caveats about his offensive style.

from purely a coaching standpoint, I could maybe see Penn St. happening, but not the other ones.

but Penn St. would put him coaching against Michigan every year.
don't know if he'd want to do that.

no real reason for thinking this other than a wild arse guess.

Maybe Purdue, no major program will touch Miles.

Maybe Penn State. No chance of the others.

just IMO, but no major program who is craving for immediate success will go after Miles.

They see what his strengths and weaknesses are, and should be scared to death of his inability to change on offense.

he is/will be a great recruiter, will demand a ferocious defense but even the staunchest of supporters couldn't deny his deficiencies on offense.

also his age might scare some.

He would be 63 turning 64 in his first year coaching. So that means he'll be 68 years old at the end of just a 4 year run.

seriously? If all of the above open up, Penn St would be the only one he might get an interview with

Notre Dame or Penn State both would be high on Miles and would be good landing spots for Miles and neither one would be upset with his offensive style of football.

USC and UT would only happen if 1st, 2nd & 3rd choices turn them down which is not likely!!!

Yes.

If the Penn State job opens up, I think he'd be one of the top candidates.

USC doesn't want some archaic bullshite Miles offense in a conference that's all about putting up points fast

Agreed. Those PAC 12 offenses have certainly dominated SEC type defenses and teams over the years. No need to mess with that formula for success.

Yeah, it's not like Stanford has won the Pac 12 three of the last five years or anything.

no way he goes to penn state. I don't think les would like their poon pads since he prefers girls. I also don't see them going for les considering their o is worse than ours was with les.
