I think Kiffin knows theres a 10-2 ceiling at Ole Miss

I think he leaves this offseason, and this is why. That UGA game really snapped him back to reality.

Kiffin being put at the top is interesting though

Easy money for the sports books. Average fans will bet the shite out of that and the casino will laugh to the bank

I hope this is true.
If so, you aren't getting anyone on the top of that list except Traylor

I'd lay money on Elko, if I were A&M however, I'd take my time and do it right.

Hire a search committee, get yourself a good top 5-10 list, interview them all and do your due diligence on backgrounds and everything, then hire the best candidate.

I bet they don't do any of that though. They probably go for who ever they have the best feeling about.

This is the hire. aTm is a sleeping giant. If they can hit right here they will be a competitor.

Based off of what exactly? A&M has never been relevant... Ever.

I not even trolling here. They didnt win anything in the Big 12. Moved to the SEC and have yet to win the west much less the league. I think A&M lives in a world of true delusion

If the school was smart they would choose Traylor. Texas high school coaches would go bananas and they would have the upper hand in a lot of the recruiting battles

Is the ceiling higher at A&M?

The money is there but have they proven to have a higher ceiling?

In the last twenty years we have the same number of nine win seasons (6) but beat them 3-1 in ten win seasons.

They're not going to get another name if they're not willing to pay what they were giving Jimbo. Coaching careers have consistently died in College Station. It's hard to succeed there and they've only had the bump because they were alone in the sec. Now Texas and Oklahoma are coming over there's not a lot of draw to go to a&m. They're going to have to take a chance on somebody. Kiffin would be an idiot to take that job.

Mike Elko 7/1 Mike Norvell 7/1 I don't want either of these guys in Aggie Land.

They would both be good potentially, but Lanning would scare the shite out of me there

History says no.

Their claim to fame since joining the sec is that they've beaten bama a few times and had a crackhead qb that was great resulting in no hardware at all.

A&M is a good job. They pay top dollar, they are patient, and the recruiting is great. Kiffin would immediately challenge Saban and Kirby. But, does Kiffin want the job? Kiffin has a lot of money and he's a guy I could see retiring soon because while I think he's an excellent coach I don't think coaching defines him like many others.

One of the parents of a UTSA player posts on TexAgs, and the information was surprising. The thought is stay away from Traylor, he's an a-hole.

Everyone in here laughing at Belichick being on the list, but this one is the most ridiculous. They really think a guy killing it in the NFL is going to willingly leave to coach the Aggies?

I would risk a ban on this website that it won’t be Kiffin.

All the dude does is troll A&M and their traditions. I couldn’t see a worse fit. I could see him leaving Ole Miss eventually, but not for a farm school with gay cheerleaders.
