OC candidates if coach O gets the job?

Who would be some realistic choices for us next year if and i mean IF coach O gets the gig?

All things being equal it'd have to be Ensminger, right? He is responsible for the turnaround of the offense. So if that improvement leads to wins leads to O getting the job who else would deserve it?

Ask Aranda who he wouldn't have to want to coach against

Ensminger with the Miles/Cameron playbook. he's the one responsible for this offense right now.

Would you leave your current job for a lateral transfer at best for about the same $$$? The only way he ends up at LSU is as the HC.

Blood's thicker than water sometimes boss. I don't think people understand how close these guys are. Wait on it.

Kiffin is not leaving Bama for the same position at LSU. That would be dumb. He's leaving when he is offered a head coaching job

would rather Ensminger. But we should try to get Applewhite.

O said he prefers pro-style, would he bring in a spread OC?

PJ Fleck makes 392k per year at W Michigan. We paid Cam 1 million to be OC. Why not give Fleck a raise to come here to be the new OC? Get him on board to get him some big time experience and a HC in waiting if it doesn't work out with O or when O retires.

What about Steve Sarkisian he knows coach O runs a pro style system and when not drunk is a pretty smart offensive mind

Things keep going as they are, my vote's for Ensminger.

If you all want to keep Orgeron because of what he's done this season and his love for Louisiana, then you have to keep Ensminger too or you're a hypocrite. He is/will be just as responsible for any turnaround this season.

Didnt Sark choose not to retain coach O when he took the job at USC? I would think there might be some bad blood between him and Bebe if true.

Ed left on his own.

O gets the credit for turning things around and letting his coordinators coach but not the actual coordinators that are doing the coaching? People only want O cause he is a local and a great recruiter.
most won't admit it but Miles wasted so much talent while here and left so many begging for offense, that a guy who was horrible being a head coach who knows enough to actually let others who know more about calling an offense do their job. Is the all of a sudden savior of LSU football. What makes anyone think someone proven to be successful at being a HC can't do or won't do the same? Keep in mind Miles was never the first choice when hired and more so a last minute hire than anything else.Look what he accomplished

Yep, I agree. The fact that O has never been a HC again after OM is a deal breaker for me. I don't care if he blows Bama out by 40. He has not proved he can build and maintain a program. Period.

so if he takes this team, goes undefeated, beats what is considered one of the most talented teams in college football history coached by what many consider to be a great coach, wins the SEC, makes the playoffs and wins the playoffs, thus the NC, you think that doesn't prove anything?
