O is Stovall, Herman/Fleck is Rein

At least back then LSU had the sense to hire Rein, it was just fate that forced Stovall upon us.
Fast forward to today and now people are actually campaigning for Stovall OVER Rein like he should be a serious candidate. It's crazy.

What was it about Stovall that got him hired. Obviously being a McClendon assistant but was there not another former assistant or other available coach out there? He wasn't even on Rein's staff was he?

He's concerned about the future of the program, like many of us, and is making his opinion known. That would appear to be in line with the purpose of the Coaching Changes board.

Stovall was not hired because he was a "Louisiana guy", he was All-SEC twice, an All-American, the number 2 pick in the draft, and a 3 time pro-bowler, then the assistant HC under McClendon.
