Alleva should be fired for ever even considering O as a permanent replacement. So stupid. He literally should lose his job over this.

I am confident comrades. 0 points vs Bama. Passing game still isn't totally clicking. They know we need an offensive hire.
But if anyone could frick this up it's alleva.

And this is the exact reason we fired Miles after 4 games. Too much of a chance that we would find ourselves right back where we were at the end of last season. Too many voices wanting him to stay and sad to see him go. And now we're in the same spot AGAIN, only this time it's with a guy that should have no business whatsoever being mentioned for this job.

Only at LSU could this shite happen. Alleva needs to be thrown out of the state if we walk away from this with O as our new HC.

Firing Miles will be a complete fail if we don't land our target!
This is damn right no matter what anyone thinks and I have wanted Miles gone for years. But if the end product is Coach O, you really must be joking. If you think Les Miles was hard to get rid of, it will be twice as hard to get rid of Coach O with his media buddies and good ole boy network. The dude has spent more time politicking than coaching.
Honestly, if LSU makes this hire, then this program is not worth supporting. The only school in this nation that would be in the position to get a top flight coach not once, but twice and frick it up not once but twice is LSU. If that piece of shite Joe Alleva makes this move he is done for. The only interest I will have in LSU is the satisfaction I will get the day that man is fired, which won't be long making dumbass hires like Johnny Jones and Coach O. Other then that, if LSU does this then the LSU football program is dead to me. I watched them blow the potential to be a perennial powerhouse for years in order to keep that clown Les Miles. I waited it out, knowing the day that idiot was gone, LSU would be in line to make a great coaching hire. And you mean to tell me you're going to pay Les Miles 9 million not to coach all so you can promote your D-line coach. frick off, LSU if this happens. And yes, this is a melt because the very thought that this is not only a possibility but likely has me in full on melt and the fan base should be as well. But they're not because a lot of jackasses are going to get what they want. A guy from Louisiana who loves LSU, talks Cajun and doesn't have a clue how to run a major college football program successfully.

I'll do the same with the east.

Okay but Jimbo with LSU puts up 0 against Alabama??
Posted on 11/17/16 at 12:24 am to safetyman
But LSU attracts better DCs than FSU
Especially now
At least Fisher would develop qbs and LSU's D should stay in good hands

I've NEVER rooted against my team. EVER. But I just can't in good conscience root for LSU in these last two games. I just can't do it. I fear that losing one of these games is the only way Orgeron doesn't get the job. And even then, he probably will. I just can't root for this man to win games. I care too much about the future of LSU to do it.
I never thought I'd feel this way. Ever.
Even once I turned anti Miles I still rooted for LSU.. but people are getting all caught up on emotion again and these are games we would be winning with any average coach.
Good job O, but most coaches would win these games versus a very down SEC season. Very very down. And LSU has as much talent and balance than anyone save maybe Bama

Jimbo is the top target. O will be backup.

When are you picking me up. I will be livid if they screw this up. Joe needs to grow some balls and make this happen now

I can't in good conscience root against LSU, but if these last 2 games run the risk of getting O hired, I sure as hell ain't rooting for that.
