Hey guys, I have enjoyed reading your board for the last week or so as the Fisher rumors started to swirl again.

Let me preface my post by saying I have zero inside sources and have no clue what Jimbo will do, but I think he is a hell of a coach and absolutely one of the best QB coaches in the country, he's referred to as the QB whisperer here in Tallahassee. Ponder and Manuel are good examples but Deondre Francois is the next special QB under Fisher if he stays and continues to coach him, that kid is a freshman and you can see the Fisher QB development transforming him week to week.

I would like to point out what I believe is a fallacy that I seem to read on this board over and over again and that is that Winston is the only reason for Fishers success, that's simply not true. That 2013 NC team at FSU was loaded across the board, every single starter on the defense went to the NFL, and the majority of the offense as well. All of those players were recruited by Fisher and the staff he assembled and that point cant be dismissed. Simply put that team was loaded, and obviously Winston was special, but they also had some of the best talent in the county along side him that were all recruited by Fisher, it wasn't a one man band.

Don't fall for this nonsense that D. Craig gets all the credit for getting Winston, Jameis is on record as saying he choose FSU because of Fisher. Craig is a hell of a recruiter as you all know and he did a great job of recruiting Winston but Winston wanted to play for Fisher and he closed the deal in Saban's backyard no less.

This years FSU team is young and losing the best player in Derwin James to a knee injury really hurt an inexperienced defense and the ACC isn't nearly as bad as the narrative I tend to read. I say that to say that yes this has been a down year but if that's your criteria for not wanting Fisher I think you are being short sighted.

Fisher has his faults, I think promoting Kelly has been a mistake, but on the flip side he brought Pruitt to Tallahassee when he was a relative unknown at Alabama so he has an eye for coaching talent. Many FSU fans will tell you his offense is complicated and Fisher can be stubborn if I'm being fair about negative criticism he gets.

I have no clue what Fisher will do and frankly no one else does at this point, I roll my eyes when I see posts about him definitely coming to LSU, or definitely staying in Tallahassee. In my opinion from someone who graduated from FSU, follows the program very closely and lives in Tallahassee, I can tell you that all rational FSU fans realize what a great coach we have and hopes he stays, I'm sure we will all know something soon.

Finally I come in peace, I'm not looking to argue with anyone or get into a nasty back and forth, simply sharing my opinions from an outsider.
