So again, like I said, I'm not a source guy or a rumor guy. Just thought some of y'all would like to know some form of truth of how the other side feels. Meaning FSU. Hope this doesn't get this whacked. And again take it fwiw. Hope y'all have an injury free end of season and bowl game. Good luck on the hire. And please tell anyone in your admin that we need defensive help and at this point would take a bum off the street and send them our way haha

None of this is true, not one word. Fisher was never a done deal to LSU last year, I know sayaing that makes LSU fans feel better instead of acknowledging the truth which is Fisher turned down the offer but suggesting Fisher was locked up and pressure at the last minute blew it up is ludicrous.

If by being played you mean Fisher is using LSUs interest for more things he wants from FSU, then yes, I think so.

Maybe. I'm of course not talking about regular assistants, FSU already has an assistant salary pool in the top 10. FSU facilities were just upgraded in the last 18 months so they aren't lacking there either. A guy like Fisher will always want the newest thing out there. Don't fool yourself, if he walked into LSU today he would complain about your facilities and want them upgraded and ask for other things you may think are great right now, that's how he rolls. He's about as cutting edge as you will find short of Saban.
