I believe people here know what some people at LSU believe
The issue right now is that Lane clearly has not made a decision or if he has, he's holding on actually announcing it, and no one at LSU would really know.
So of course no one here knows the full truth

Why do ball keep coming on here to throw a tantrum when nothing negatively has happened other than losing the game? Nothing.

I know Lane is the best coach on the market and if we end up with one of these other coaches it’s going to be a massive step down in coaching ability.

It all appears accurate - the fact is lane doesn’t have to choose as long as OM stays idle.
The pecking order in this board game is Lane, then OM, then LSU
All the leaks on numbers and intent can be true, but as long as Lane doesn’t announce (wants to coach playoffs), and the OM doesn’t force him out (wait out a potential natty and change of heart), then LSU has to hope he honors his word or cut bait
