I don't want Jimbo at all, but this I agree with. If it came down to Lane or Jimbo, I'd pick Jimbo every time. At least he's not going to blindly go for 4th downs and give away points in a game he's losing. Especially, when those three points would have put you within one possession. Jesus, he acts like he's losing the game by 14 late in the 4th quarter. Just dumb.

Jimbo doesn't make egotistical, downright dumb decisions; but I do not feel comfortable saying he's "light years better." This Jimbo is a guy that has shown that he cannot keep a program in contention. He let Florida State slip, and he has not done jack shite at Texas A&M. He'll maybe when a national title, but he's definitely not one who can sustain a top program.

Jimbo has a defense and more talent than Kiffen. Lane is far and away a better offensive coach that’s Jimbo. I don’t want either of them at LSU.
