After Baylor beats Texas, Mack will step down. The Longhorns will throw a ton of money at Saban (sorry BAMA, you cannot outspend Texas), and he will probably go. It makes sense if he wins the national championship; it makes more sense if he loses or doesn't get to the game, because Bama could lose many players to the draft.

That's debatable. If Mack steps down (doubt he does after this year IMO), it won't be Saban.

Could you imagine the Bama meltdown? Wonder if they'll knock down the statue in protest.

No, but seriously, Nick is not going to Texas.

Both could spend way more than they would need to. Alabama isnt going to be outspent.

So it would boil down to whether Rexas would want to spend that kind of money on Saban (I doubt it) and where Saban would prefer to be.

Alabama doesn't have near the dollars Texas does. Alabama has a lot, but they can't pay 10 mil per year, just can't.....Texas can, though

They'll shut down the basketball team if they have to.

If it's a LSU/BAMA rematch, and Little Nicky loses, he may HAVE to take another job. Really. Losing 3 times in a ROW to LSU? Bama ain't gonna stand for that.

Callers on finebaum wanted Nick out and Les in at bama. They will run him outta town if he loses again. Gumps aren't very smart.

They have been talking about the Saban to UT in the radio over here for over a week, and they said their source came not from UT, but the Bama camp.

Theoretically, who would Bama want to replace him?

It would be a short term replacement, kinda like when Spurrier left Fla, Zook lasted, like 2-3 years?

First of all, Bama has plenty of money, they can match anyone. 2nd where in the larry hell did people come up with this idea that Texas would pay a coach $10M? Not that they could really afford that, but why in the frick would they?

That was the point; I am tired of them saying that they are better than LSU and deserve to be in the BCS. Go Oklahoma St!
