NIL,

This is a pain in the arse for college coaches, constant drama and risk of tampering by other teams.

The equivalent would be NFL players under contract entering a portal for a one time free transfer with the losing team getting no compensation.

The rules of the college game are jacked up; it’s why LSU has grad assistants assigned to 5-7 players each to monitor their activity. The college HC is a babysitter.

JH would be a fool to leave Michigan.

Some coaches prefer to coach at the highest level. Harbaugh has admitted that. He may not leave after this year, but it's going to happen soon, IMO.

College is and always will be the baby brother of the NFL. You can load your team up with 4 and 5 star players and win Championships. It's a totally different game when you're playing the best of the best. Literally 1.5% of college players make it to the NFL. That's the pinnacle of football.

What homework has to be done? Lol

Harbaugh was fired as an NFL HC so they want to be 100 percent sure he would be a good to be back as an NFL HC. Nick Saban never went back to the NFL.

Harbaugh can decide the date and time of his retirement at Michigan. It really is not about proving himself anymore. Especially if he wins the whole thing. So long as Warde Manuel is the AD Harbaugh will get anything wants

Same. My opinion on him has changed drastically the last year.
Why, because he’s beaten Ohio St a couple times? If he gets trounced yet again by the SEC or even TCU, what then

He interviewed with the Vikings last year. No one should be surprised if he leaves for the NFL. It's the pinnacle of football and in coaching. His brother John has had a good career in the NFL. My guess is that Jim has enough frick you money to do whatever he wants.

I love how arrogant the NFL people are

I wouldn't call it arrogance. I'd call it knowing you are the pinnacle of your sport and profession.
