I know a lot of people are looking to promote Lance Guidry. If not, then I hope we get outside of McNeese's good ole boy network and find someone who's about business.

His defense was hands down one of the best in a long time at McNeese.
Hes a McNeese guy. With what McNeese can pay as far as salary, I'd prefer someone who WANTS to be here for at least a little while. Don't want someone who would win and leave within a year. At least with Viator, theres been consistency in the program.
Y'all need to get over the dumb shite about "the mean streets." It's tired and old. It looks like the guy has moved on and we haven't heard any connection whose he's had with his son, if there's been any at all.
I'm all about hiring Guidry. I think next year's team will be even better than this years.

He's a young guy - I'm sure he has aspirations to be successful here and get a bigger job.

What makes you think this? Seems that he was in the right place at the right time, and McNeese did what they always do.

Just saw that. But being bailed out at 5am so you don't miss the game doesn't all of a sudden turn it into good decision making.
