News heard from top level A&M booster, confidant of Woody this week.

I know… sauces. Family member with deep ties to A&M, Woodward and Louisiana said that as of early this week, Fisher was still in play til about Tuesday. Woodward had reached out to Dabo Wednesday and then circled back to Lincoln Riley as of last night. It’s not a waiting game to see if pen meets paper.

Honestly, my deepest fear has been that it’s been Dabo all along. His name fell away from the rumor mill almost immediately, and that has always given me pause.

Well he’s a top A&M booster with multiple ties to Louisiana through O&G. Wouldn’t call it random when he’s been Woodys boy since he worked in politics. Just passing along what I heard directly. Don’t really care either way.
