Has anyone considered maybe below par is right and the reason why there isn't any whispers of a new o.c. may be due to miles looking at the n.f.l. ranks?

If he's going to get a new o.c., there isn't much to choose from in college ball at this time. However, he could get a qb coach at the n.f.l. level or a o.c. that may not have a job. he would have more coaching talent to choose from in a couple of weeks. Therefore, let crowton continue through the bowl.

Supposedly a few guys have already been "contacted" so why the hell were they contacted if not for shopping around?

A qb coach would be nice. Ryan Mallet has one. Apparently it works. Nothing against gary but i'm not sure if qb coaching is his forte.

There is a reason Dixon became a superstar once Crowton left...

I'm not too keen on hiring someone who's offense is nearly exclusively the Wildcat; although, for LSU that is nearly perfect, considering LSU has quite possibly the best Wildcat prospect at QB since it's become so en-vogue, being Shep.

with so many choices you'd think the Tigers would be good at ONE of them

Tom Clements- QB coach of the Green Bay Packers
He kept Aaron Rogers head on straight throughout the whole Brett Favre thing, and Rogers came out a stud. Whats not to like?

David Lee was at Arkansas and I can say he may be one of the worst OC's I've ever seen. Thanks, but want no part of him.

Not no but hell no. Jason Garrett is as predictable as Crowton. He's an awful play caller.
