I’ve heard it will be Bob Diaco. What does everyone think about him? He has the same work history with Kelly that Denbrock does.

What kind of horse crap is that lol. If that becomes the hire, Brian Kelly needs to be fired.

He was the DC at Notre Dame during the same time that Denbrock was OC at Notre Dame. Notre Dame had good defenses for a while. I don’t know why y’all think this would be a bad hire.

He might not be a bad hire but it’s extremely unlikely Kelly promotes from within. Just terrible optics.

He needs to go outside his BBQ circle and bring in an up and comer with HC potential

If he has the answers, why wasn’t he suggesting things over this past year?

Because Kelly is the HC! Haven't you learned anything about Kelly?

I’ve learned that he’s quickly gotten us back into contention for the sec west crown and on the verge of winning 10 games for the second time in as many years of a total rebuild.

I’ve learned that he’s developed a cast off quarterback into a heisman finalist in his 2nd year.

And I’ve learned that even with a terrible defense, he can kick Missouri’s arse when they have their best team in 50 years

Well. Inside his bbq circle is denbrock. Outside his bbq circle was House. Which one was more successful. Bbq circle has nothing to do with this

Personally it comes down to how much input did Diaco have this year. If any, you can’t hire. If none it is still a tough sell, just due to being a part of the staff

He is already on staff as an analyst. You can’t hire someone on staff that was part of that disaster!

Sure it does when the BBQ buddy in question has a pretty meh resume.

Dennrock had Ciny’s offense rocking not the same thing at all.

Nuclear.

I’m not a fan of this. He’s got the 2012 Broyles, but I’m not sure this eases anyone’s mind.

Oh i like this guy.Post more often. I do hope kelly does get someone better then one of his old Defensive cordinators though. The Defensive side of the ball needs a new start.

Well there are rumors that diaco called the 2nd half defense and if you look at my comments there is a picture of diaco and house walking off the field and house is hugging and smiling at diaco like he accomplished something good if you know how to read a picture. And diaco has a binder in his hands. I don't know if diaco will be lsu next dc but I will bet money he called the 2nd half defense of the a&m game.
