With all the posts about it tonight, it should be cleared up that ULL had best ranked classes in 2019, 2020, and 2021 in their conference. Arkansas State had number one class in 2018. Also, take into account that four of Arkansas State's losses were to Memphis, Washington, Coastal Carolina, and ULL which were all games they were heavily favored to lose.

All things considered, 546 yards of offense and a victory on the road aren't really much of a knock on Napier if you look at his entire body of work.

If there’s one thing LSU should be vying for, it’s being tops in recruiting in the Sunbelt.

Wtf is wrong with Damone and this Tuna nut job.

Napier is one hell of a good coach.

Again, it takes all of 30 seconds to view Napiers record. Hint, since 2019 its 27-5. I also don't know if you noticed this, but on the game tonight under the scoreboard it said "A lot of wins" to "Not a lot of losses".

Fickell has the No. 1 recruiting class in the entire Group of 5. And doesn’t struggle against 1-6 teams and beat Top 10 ND by double digits.

Top 10 Notre Dame is horrible. Cincy and Notre Dame schedule is weak.

But what about the skins on the wall? What's his best win? At UH Herman was beating the big names.

If only they had a shot to beat 1-6 ArkSt by 1 point.

Agree, but would you say ULL has tougher schedule? Not!

I think Napier is a good, but using this metric is silly. This is like saying a kid had the best drawing in kindergarten and should therefore be hired to teach an art class in college.

Napier is an up and coming coach who is not ready for a job like LSU. Maybe one day he will be and maybe one day LSU will regret not hiring him, but if LSU hires Napier this time around it means a whole lot of people said No to Scott a Woodward.

So he’s underachieving on the field. Thanks for clearing that up.
