Perhaps, that hasn’t been finalized for reasons. I read his old post and people were calling him a troll. Ridiculous! Time will tell if it comes to fruition.

From what I gathered Schroyer and Rousse have a good relationship and Schroyer and Will Wade have a good relationship.
...my own personal feelings, I suspect Rousse plans to move him up to full AD if Verge doesn't work out. Verge has some baggage and seems like a shoot from the hip hire. He may be on a shorter leash than some.

schroyer is coming in some capacity as he will prolly be the next AD after Verge if Rousse is the President. very very good chance as that is who Rouse wanted to start with but was told no by money people

Wade and Heath have worked hand and hand at McNeese and are very very close. Wade trust him more than anyone else. Yes he is coming. like i said before, Rousse wanted him to be the AD, was told no, not yet by Mallet and couple other money guys and that he needed a couple years in the department before he could become AD.
I look for Verge to do 2-3 years prolly and then retires or moves into fundraising position.
but Schroyer is coming. Matt Fontenot either gets the McNeese AD or he prolly comes too.

I don’t know that it’s necessarily that Rousse is looking ahead and anticipating problems with Verge. I think it’s more that Verge has been promoted to AD and there is a vacant spot. Rousse and Schroyer have a great working relationship. I think it’s a combination of a couple things- there is an open position that needs to be filled and he has worked with someone who has the skills to fill it and they already trust each other. The second part is rewarding Schroyer for his work at McNeese by giving him the opportunity to advance in the scope and size of his professional responsibilities. I have no doubt that Rousse has in the back of his mind promoting Schroyer in the event Verge leaves/retires/etc.
