This has the potential to beat #GoodOlRockyFlop's coaching search after Five Star Heart Life Champion got trashcanned.
Only half a dozen more rejections to go...

Mullen didn't get us put on probation,
Nor did moorhead. When are you firing the HC of Basketball sense his starting PG was involved?
But you are 100% wrong sir:
2013 Mullen was the coach and you were hammered
quote:
The NCAA penalized Mississippi State's football program with two years of probation, a loss of four total scholarships, and a loss of four recruiting visits, and cited a former assistant coach for unethical conduct for major recruiting violations.
According to the NCAA, a since-disassociated booster assisted a player in securing a car, provided cash to a recruit on multiple locations and told the recruit if he did not take a visit to another school, he would be paid $6,000.
That was a direct involvement by staff. Tutorgate was done outside the system.

have a QB miss games because another player literally broke his face.
Fights happen and Gay is gone. He was never stepping foot back in the program!

1 player =/= 8 players.

That's sad and pathetic.

Mullen’s problem was and continues to be recruiting.
He's got the #7 ranked class right now.

Sorry you feel that way. But to elaborate, Howland isn't on the hot seat due to it because he completely turned around the program. Fans will give you the benefit of the doubt when you're trending in the right direction and not taking the shots at your own supporters.
Joe would say things like "I sucked today" and then call out fans for saying the same thing.

I posted the following in my thread on the subject and will post it here too...
Friend of mine at State now says the hire should be revealed within the next 24 hours, probably tomorrow afternoon. Offer has been made to Joe Judge to be the next HC of State. They should have a response from him tomorrow morning. If he declines, an offer will be made to Todd Grantham who will accept (he has already done so in a handshake agreement; he’s the backup).
So there you go.

I don’t really care who is saying it. It’s not true.

I’m sorry—you’re right. Dan Mullen is the perfect coach in every way straight out of Plato’s world of forms.

The man had Miss State ranked #1. This may not be as far from the truth as you think

He’s a great coach. I’ve never said otherwise. Probably 2nd best in the SEC

K. turning a program around means finishing a season ranked in the top 25 or at least winning a game in the NCAA tourney. It takes maybe 1 or 2 recruiting cycles to turn a program around in basketball. Not 5 years.
but carry on.

it isn't where you start but where you finish.

Feel free to point me to the season that Miss State started out #1
Posted on 1/6/20 at 2:38 pm to wildtigercat93
There was no playoff ranking to start the season, same as every year. We went into Alabama and got whipped if I remember correctly after that number 1 ranking and I think it was maybe Calvin Ridley that had like 200 yards receiving on us. Regardless we underperformed that year after midway through the season. SAme as with Joe.

Can't have it both ways. You can not claim one coach was responsible without implicating all coaches that players involved.
Now you are just showing your homer.

I don't think he did that

SAme as with Joe.
Maybe you can admit there was a bit of a difference in those two scenarios

A guy that has never been a HC and only been a ST/WR coach?
Hey there's a guy in the NFL who got a head job after a career as a Special Teams coordinator / defensive backs coach. He's done pretty well.
It's John Harbaugh
