Woah, they surely can do better than this, right?

No, they can't.

They just canned a guy after two years. What established coach wants anything to do with that?

He was canned because he had no control over the program. Any established coach can do a quick google search and understand why.

That's a BS narrative.

As your own posters have stated, one being ANC, Mullen had worse issues.

You allowed some piss ant wanna be to put you here. And that same small group will do it again because they feel empowered by their efforts.

THEY think they know whats best.

Correct me if I am wrong. State hasn’t hired a sitting HC. They have hired former HCs but not sitting ones. They have always hired coordinators or former has beens.

Only people that said that were State fans when you hayseeds began proclaiming he was an upgrade over Mullens. Nobody else thought that.

Mullen did not have worse issues than Moorhead. The players didn’t like Mullen, but he had control of the team. Mullen’s problem was and continues to be recruiting.

Quite honestly, I was tired of Mullen's leaving every year the last 5 he was there but there was no way I thought Moorehead was an upgrade being as I had never heard of him until he appeared out of the blue. I was hopeful and supportive but it was pretty clear year one he was not cut out for this type job. I won't be surprised if Cohen again pulls someone out of thin air that no one has mentioned. Again, I would be hopeful and supportive but the timing of the firing puts us behind the 8 ball. But, it is what it is. Don't remember Judge when he was at State as a player but at this point, it might be worth taking a chance on him. Weren't the Giants considering him for their opening or did I make that up?

He’s interviewing today for the Giants HC position.

Yes... he did. Ask ANC. He's on the rant. That way you are hearing it from your own fan.

ITT people ridicule a school for maybe hiring an alum who otherwise may be an NFL head coach next season.

Mullen didn't get us put on probation, or have a QB miss games because another player literally broke his face.

This is a really silly argument. It took Moorhead 18 months for the wheels to fall all the way off. Guys not showing up to practice, in general just loss control of the program. Mullen had it under control and ran a pretty tight ship for 9 years.

You can't honestly say you'd be happy to hire someone who has never even been a coordinator as your next HC. I think there's better candidates out there and Cohen isn't dumb enough to hire this guy. I would legit feel pity for you guys if this happened.

So currently UF has the number 7 class on 24/7 and they have gotten two 5 start transfer in the last week.

Mullen's largest hurdle he had in recruiting while at MSU was Startkville and MSU itself. Not himself.

I mean that’s a pretty unique situation and he didn’t have that exact scenario happen, but don’t act like he was some saint with off the field issues. shite, he let Jeffrey Simmons on the team without being suspended a single fricking quarter. There’s plenty of off the field shite we can sling at one another from the past few years if you really wanted to.

I’d be happy with Judge. He wants to be here, he’s young, and would likely bring in more alumni. The only downside is the unknown of him not being a HC.

Technically he is a Coordinator now. Special Teams Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach. (Yes, I get that you mean OC or DC)

Anytime you hire someone who hasn't been a successful P5 head coach its a gamble. I think taking a slightly larger gamble, for someone who would actually stick around if successful, is something you have to consider. And he is going to be a coordinator in the NFL next year, probably a HC within 3, this may be your last shot to get him.

Like I said in another thread, if we hire Judge, we probably end up with Aaron Feld at S&C, I am personally good with that move.

Wrong. One game nonetheless. But do your research.
