I actually agree with this.
They’ve given him a raise every year and dealt with “will he or won’t he” every year.
He’s done great there and for Ole Miss’ loyalty I think they deserve some back.

Hey T1gernate Hope you're doing well my brother. I am originally from Brookhaven Mississippi but I'm a Smith Wyndham tiger comes from the town I used to live in in Montana Windham, Montana, although I was born and raised in Brookhaven Mississippi and Bay St. Louis and now living in Gonzales, Louisiana. But who knows still might be cousins. All us good Mississippi folks and got some good kinfolk on the Smith side that still live in Laurel, Mississippi my brother. Anyway have a great day and go Tigers

After the shiteshow LSU has had, Mississippi doing its best to tell Louisiana to “hold my beer.”

So when he thinks about running for Gov she should keep the public informed along the way.

Especially when it’s a sexton client. This is sexton 101.

I for one agree! I hope every politician in Mississippi gives their opinion on the Lane Kiffin situation. It would definitely be a good look and help people forget about Jeff Landry for a while, lol.

Sure. But the program is, as it was for LSU as well, is that once politicians get involved it blows everything up
OM fans and administrators have every right to be demanding some loyalty back. The Mississippi SOS shouldn't be doing so publicly

Not seeing much of a “demand” in that statement but you do you.

The best thing for LSU is if more politicians go public with their views on Lane. Hopefully more Mississippi politicians come out and express themselves.

His agent’s job is to maximize the amount of money he makes. The way that is done is by leveraging one school against another by keeping all options open. The way you kill that is by coming out right now and saying you aren’t going anywhere. The longer this goes, the more Lane stands to make.

Nobody puts lane in the corner

If Lane responds with the only way he’s leaving Oxford is in a pine box, it’s over.

“Demand” or not it’s idiotic. “It just shouldn’t be this hard” is not exactly a friendly statement.

I agree. It’s not close to a demand, but hopefully more Mississippi politicians feel free to express themselves on this situation anyway.

Freshwater to Florida confirmed, or do they have meddlesome politicians as well interfering in their College Sports

ole miss will have a very good football coach in 2026. it may be lane kiffin it may not be lane kiffin but I trust the current iteration of ole miss to hire good people and win at a high level because...they hire good people and win at a high level...
Who tf fits better than Kiffin that is available and/or open to going to Oxford?
Essentially UF, and LSU are trying to find the best they can right now. If anyone snags up LK, who did they overlook that OM will find that is equal/better?
Way to many bigger programs are in the hiring market right now for any OM fan to make such a comment like this. Fans are buffoons.

Lane has 100% of the leverage here. All 3 schools would be smart to understand that. Lane has all the advantages here.

At some point, it’d be nice for our current coach (@Lane_Kiffin) to reciprocate the love and gratitude shown by our administration, players, fan base, and collective.
Look at your record, clown. I think hes MORE than reciprocated.
What a fricking idiotic thing to type and post!!
