Ex popcorn going FULL Bufftard throughout this thread:

quote:

No way...this guy is not ready for primetime. Not close, actually.

He still may get FIRED at CU at the end of this year
. It was very close at the end of last year. Instead, Rick George forced him to fire staff members and forced him to bring in a new "Co" offensive coordinator. Rick George then hired Leavitt at DC. Mac did not. The major knock on Mac is that he has no ability to recruit...personally or through staff. He cannot close. And, he's too loyal to really crappy, non-recruiting assistants. Completely honest here...die hard CU fans would laugh hysterically at the notion of getting rid of Miles for Mac.
He's just not a recruiter. Not even a little bit.CU's recruiting for 2017 is laughably bad.
no axe to grind here...long time ticket holder and alum. I just have the ability to look below the surface to see the truth
(LOL)

Just an update on what this Popcorn Bufftard is writing now as he lobbies for CU to make the 4 team playoff: LINK

quote:

Not nearly as far fetched as you think. Colorado is No. 10 right now. If they win out, it means they finish the season beating 3 straight ranked teams including a highly ranked Washington team. Plus, Colorado's only losses came with their backup QB

Never go Full Bufftard.

He's on my list. Obviously there will be 3 maybe 4 people who would have to say no thanks

PAC-10 Championship game thread Bump. Funny stuff in this thread by Ex-Popcorn, who still hasn't arrived to eat his crow. (LOL Mc still isn't fired and CU just got another high profile recruit that reneged on Mihcigan....)

Now that McIntyre has taken two programs from ruin to big success-I'd say somebody will throw money at him very soon. Moscona says definitively that McIntyre badly wanted the LSU gig, fwiw.

Go Buffs ! (gonna be a tough uphill battle tonight )

There were numerous candidates worthy of an interview. Unfortunately, no interviews were given.

I hope Moscona is just trolling because I felt sick to my stomach when I first heard him say that.

I wasn't real high on McIntyre when he was first mentioned on here, but I also didn't expect O to be hired.

Looks like LSU didn't even consider the Coach of the Year. Dodd Trophy (or any real coaching candidates for that matter)

Thanks, Alleva!
