As a courtesy, he really should be on Gerry Dinardo as his O line coach.

Just think of all the recruiting scoop there's gonna be on tigerroar.com about Miami of OH!

I bet the Black Coaches Association is happy as a pig in shite.

He was on par with Peveto as a special teams coach. I guess it's worth noting that they both became head coaches the same year. I wish them well.

Curious... have you ever met Coach Peveto?

Never in recent memory has one of our Football Coaches screwed us over as hard as Haywood did in his final year at Texas.

Killed our recruiting in Houston and pretty much drove Martellus Bennett to A&M by not even doing his job in recruiting the area (not even so much as calling recruits in the area) while still maintaining to Mack & Company that he was. Never before has Mack been so pissed off about a single member of his own coaching staff before.

interesting
as for the hire itself, I don't get it. Haywood's always struck me as just a recruiter and position coach, and really not even that much of a personality (at least that I could tell). maybe he'll be a good ceo type.

I'll say it. Would a white coach with Haywoods pedigree get this job?

Tenuta has to be thinking about fleeing that sinking ship too

I thought Brady was the deciding factor?

Mac knew what he was getting. I did.

Did you bring up Turner Gill being infinitely better the Chiznik when AU hired him?
Just checking.
It is Miami of Oh, not Miami, basically any D1 coordinator is qualified.
