Well I was inside the loop.
I finally made it to Reef today. I've heard all the great stuff about the place and was down there so had lunch. I went with a lady friend who is not my wife (my lady friend is a lesbian). She had heard from friends that the appeteizers were great but the entrees were poor.
We started with the crab cake, very good but for $16 it wasn't good. She was born and raised near Covington so she knows her food. She hated her gumbo and I wasn't impressed with mine. Then I got the spicy shrimp roll which was fricking terrible. I did have a nice bloody mary though but it wasn't strong enough.
To make it worse was our gay little waiter who had an attitude and the a-hole at the valet who gave me a dirty look when I pulled up in my POS.

Take her to City Centre.
Sirloin might actually be my favorite. Cheap and tasty.

Yeah I know that is the idea, but the thought that the Texans are worth more than the Red Sox makes me want to vomit
Boston is a shithole full of people who would frick a Kennedy. Houston is a shithole full of minorities.
See the thread about sports teams values.

Some of you people are really stupid. :banghead:
I have a bad feeling Ed Wade is going to frick this up. I think he is in a good position to move players, he just needs to be willing to start over.
Oswalt- Top pitcher available
Berkman- Past his prime but proven hitter in the postseason, I think if you put him in a good lineup he would be productive.
Myers- Having a good season, been in the postseason, get something for him.
Wandy- His is f'in Wandy plus we know Major League GM's go crazy for lefties. If you get a prospect for him do it.
Blum and Keppinger- Vetern utility guys, get something for them.
Lee- Great chance for a team to get a steal of a contract.
I love The Astros but at this point I want to see youth, if we suck for a few years so be it, I just want to see steps in the right direction.

Not really scary, very predictable, pretty crappy.

I like it... Pujols is overrated anyway
Berkman is a 40/40 guy and Albert is on the decline.

They have a bye week in like week 5 where they should be winless - I expect a change then.
Maybe he will trade for Favre!

Would you trade Castro for Albert?

I would like to have gone to Babu's place also.
Why doesn't Holmgren just coach?
