Dude is a dollar store contributor acting like he is Saks. The real money is coming from the Ellisons.
I know he isn't the sole money guy....my point is as long as the money comes in 1 year won't kill the program. This isn't the 90s,00s or 10s.

refusing to offer Dillingham because of "political" reasons

Only care about the money. You seriously think players leave simply for a coach?
If a school is offering money that is some what close and that player sees playing better/more as a way to make money, they are damn sure looking at the coach. Great a kid makes some money but then doesn't fit into the new coaches scheme and riding the bench, they care about coaches.

Schumann could still be the guy. The guy has gotten rave reviews over the years from folks that have worked with him and going the DC route has obviously worked out well for UGA and Oregon.

Doesn’t Kelly have to be at least applying for all of these openings? If so, says a lot about what schools think about his trajectory.
I don't know why this bothers me so much haha.
NOBODY WANTS HIM!!! Accept it.
He will never have a major job again and may never coach again.
He's DONE

You know that they don't apply in the traditional sense, right? Kiffin did not send in a cover letter and resume. As another poster said, Kelly will have to put his name out there, via his agent, or go on podcasts and talk about his love for the game and willingness to coach, but he is not on Indeed looking for openings and sending in applications.
It is not unusual for a coach like Kelly who was fired in one cycle not to get a job until the next one.
