I'm sure Mario and Ruiz will be gunning for a big name. I would think any solid OC they go after would want assurances that Mario would be more hands off

Miami announces that OC Josh Gattis has been fired. He won the Broyles Award in 2021 for his work at Michigan. Miami's offense never got in synch in 2022.

Gattis is awful at anything outside of recruiting.

Miami would do well to take Mario's headset away and have him stick to handing out bags.

It really is. I love that you can have a never ending run on any type of pizza you want. Pretty awesome.

Apparently the Bucs blocked Clyde Christenson from taking the Miami last year and are now forcing him out so I guess this is the precursor to that

Gotta jump on that 66 yr old OC that hasn't worked in college in 25 years and was just forced into "retirement" when you can.

Clyde Christensen is one of those NFL guys like Bill Lazor and Dowell Loggains that have been around forever but never actually done shite

Your season ended two months ago. Why fire the guy now? It’s not like you just realized the offense was lousy.

I am guessing current OC at the college ranks.

Maybe Miami was on a lookout for a perfect match. Must have found one and should be making an announcement soon. Plus, recruiting class is still going on and needed time to get the key players to commit and/or signed.

I know Ruiz likes to spend, but if you’re a hot OC candidate, idk why you would sign yourself up for a job where they just fired the last hot OC candidate after a season.

a joke. He was terrible here and 2021 was when Jim got more hands on with the offense and made Gattis more of an assistant than actual coordinator
