Vandy offered 3 mill w/ 7 year contract. Why does everyone act like Vandy is poor? It's time for them to step up and take some risk and spend some damn money. Gus is just what they need IMO.

Auburn Rivals just came out with another report that Gus turned down Vanderbilt's offer.
Apparently he took a raise to 1.3 million to stay at Auburn. He is looking for a HC job but he wants to wait for the right opportunity, and does not feel that Vanderbilt is the right opportunity.

Damn it just seems like making Malzahn the HC at AU would be the best thing.

Seems Auburn isn't the only one who realises that Chizik is toast without Malzahn.
