Saban could have Texas in the championship hunt by the end of the 2014 season.

It's not impossible, but I wouldn't bank on that year 1. We've got some major positional deficiencies and I'm not very confident anyone can cure that in 1 year.

It is right after you lose to Auburn

He's not extorting me in any way. Why do people assume there is a basis for emotion in coaching? His job is to win football games, he's wanting to get his market value. Seems to me like simple economics.

As I've said before, the warm and tingly feelings coaches have for programs has been gone for a while. It's a business and that's how this whole thing should be viewed.

McMurphy said "finalizing" a new contract.

Could be the same contract people reported on last Friday or the report from last Friday was not accurate.

I don't have any sources, I just saw McMurphy on ESPN just now because I was watching the lawyer for the girl in the Jameis Winston case tear the TPD a new a-hole.

Did ATPB eventually just become an IM thread for like the same 8 people every day?

And his market value goes up after losing to Auburn and just signing a new extension in March?

So basically McMurphy is just repeating the same shite we've been hearing all week. Got it.

My sources have been saying Mack is staying and Saban is leaving for the NFL. Bookmark this for when it happens.

Allows Saban to go through this last weekend on recruiting before the dead period begins on Monday without the distraction of questions all weekend.

Sure, there will still be questions, but if Mack was out tonight, you could multiple them by 1000.

Truth. It's why all the Mack supporters kill me. Like I said earlier. It's more important to me that Mack is gone, than Saban is coming. Yeah, it's all a bit ugly, but it's just business.
