You guys really believe this? The highest paid coach in football is Sean Payton at 8 Million. No way they are going to pay a college coach 25% more than then highest paid NFL guy. Come on.

A thread about this was whacked.
Just thought it was ridiculous.

Might have something to do with the thread title being inaccurate. The title was LF and family saying Saban was staying when that wasn't what was in the article.

Is there any NFL coach that even makes that? Payton is in the top 5 at 8 mil per year. I can't imagine anyone else making that kind of money.

Bama does not have Texas money.

I know, I'm saying if all Saban wanted was more money to stay at Bama, he wouldn't need to involve Texas. He could just say "Pay me 7 million per year or I will retire," and Bama would pay him. No need for all this rigamarole.

Thank you for proving my point. It was someone else who made a joke, I just pointed out that several Bama posters have used the aftermath of the tornado as proof that Saban loves Tuscalousy and that may be what he was getting at.

I can't find bottom line what the NO Saints put to the bottom line what UT puts to the bottom line.

I see their revenues with the saints being at 600m and the Longhorns at 140m, but don't see bottom line dollars
