He made a ton of assumptions and assertions during the whole Texas to Pac whatever and A&M to wherever deal and he was wrong on almost all of that crap. He throws stuff to the wall just like everyone else trying to get a scoop.

At this point, we're just playing with house money. This has blown up enough that the Alabama fans are stressed out already. Saban leaving just kicks that up to the next level.

I agree. Chip usually is bull. But he called our AD retiring. Similarly this is a make or break story for him. Being wrong would ruin his business (not exaggerating). The stakes are too high for him to be tossing shite against the wall to see what sticks.

Yeah, I don't give a shite what Saban does, because the meltdown on either side is going to be amazing...
I do think Saban would be dumb to pass up the Texas opportunity. Highest paid coach by FAR, chance to win championships at 3 different schools, and its in fricking Texas as opposed to Alabama.
